Game Talkin Smack To Rampage.
Game has some choice words for Rampage Jackson. After trying out for the part of B.A. Baracus for the A-Team movie, and eventually losing the part to Rampage in the end. Game had some words for the MMA fighter when he lost his recent bout with Rashad Evans in the Octagon. I’m not sure if that was such a smart move on Games part, but I guess since Rampage’s hands are licensed he might get a pass, or a good ass lawsuit which ever comes first. Hopefully not an ass whuppin though…….
Rapper The Game and MMA star Rampage Jackson have a little beef brewing, after both sent a few choice words each other’s way during the promotion of the big screen adaptation of The A-Team back in June.
Both were in the running for the role of B.A. Baracus, originally played by Mr. T, in the movie. However, as most already know, Jackson was chosen.
Game wasn’t feeling that, believing he could’ve depicted B.A. better than the fighter. When Jackson finally got back into the octagon to fight “Sugar” Rashad Evans and lost, after wraping filming, the rapper poked fun at Jackson (via an interview with AllHipHop) saying that his lost proved his wasn’t the better choice for the role.
“He couldn’t f*** with me. No disrespect to Rampage, but my dude Rashad Evans whupped that a**,” Game said. “When he had that UFC fight against Rashad Evans and he lost, I felt like that was me [winning]. ‘Don’t you know n****? I play Mr. T (A-Team character ‘B.A. Baracus’) better than you! I pity the fool!’ I went in there [the audition] and I killed the Mr. T role on my screen test.”
Of course, Rampage heard what the Compton rapper said, and shortly before the film’s release, he was asked about it by Ace of BBC’s 1 Xtra … and explained that he had previously challenged the Game to a fight in the cage after hearing his comments and hasn’t heard from his since.
“He totally disrespected me and stuff. So I told The Game: ‘Look here Game, we could have an act off where you play the role of B.A.; then we can have a rap off where you rap and I rap; then let’s get in the cage and have a sparring match, let’s see who’ll win.’ I told the Game that and he shut up talking. No response, it’s like crickets for real,” Rampage said, via a clip of the interview posted at WorldStarHipHop this week.
Rampage Jackson didn’t stop there. He continued his rant, saying that if the tables were turned and The Game landed the role instead of him, he would’ve boycotted the movie. And it wouldn’t be because someone else landed it over him. Rampage says he wouldn’t want to watch it because Game is fake rapper and it would’ve taken away from the movie.
“If the Game would’ve got the role of B.A. Baracus, I would’ve never watched ‘The A-Team.’ I don’t care if it turned into a great big franchise and they made a bunch of sequels, I would’ve been like ‘Oh man, they got The Game?'” the UFC stated. “Homeboy was on the ‘Change of Heart’ dating show and his chick had a change of heart. She went with another dude. [Game] sitting there with blonde hair and he all gangsta talking about he from Compton. I’m from Memphis, and Memphis is real!”
The interview clip has been a hot topic on Twitter, and has since gotten back to the Compton rapper who tweeted (@TheGame) about it Wednesday morning (August 4).
“Rampage Jackson is an Orange County ‘HOUSE WIFE.’ I’m from the streets champ, I mean chump !!! Lose lips sink ships……. #checkyaself,” The Game wrote.
“You a wrestler…….. so go wrestle n****. Cuz if sumn happen to you out here, they lookin for me.. so keep it entertainment ‘VALLEY N****’,” the rapper later wrote.
The A-Team movie hit theaters back in June. To date, the film has made just over $76 million domestically.
